Teachers > Jean Breidenbach
Ed Mascari Piano Studio Faculty Member
Experienced Teacher, Pianist and Organist
Jean Breidenbach started taking piano lessons as a young girl and by high school was accompanying her school chorus. Jean has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts from New England's Bradford College and studied piano there with Mark Peterson. She is also an accomplished organist, having studied with Bruce Porter as well as recording artist and organ soloist Malcolm Halliday. Jean worked for several years as organist at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Harvard MA.
After juggling the three careers of piano teaching, church work and banking for more than 20 years, Jean made the decision to leave her full-time day job so she could dedicate herself exclusively to her musical career. She is currently the organist for the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Worcester MA, in addition to being an active member of the Worcester Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Jean also holds an MBA in E-Business and is currently working on a degree in elementary education.
Jean Breidenbach is committed to helping her piano students learn to play music in a variety of styles and seeing that every student has a strong musical foundation by incorporating the classics.
Ms. Breidenbach is teaching on Wednesday's at the Ed Mascari Piano Studio in Hudson, Massachusetts.
